The Haskell Free Library & Opera House is proud of its unique place in the history, and geography of our communities and seeks to maintain positive and harmonious relations with governments and its agencies on both sides of the border.
The Haskell Free Library & Opera House will respond to media inquiries relating to programming, as well as to the mission and history of the institution. Our website offers considerable information regarding the history and mission of the Haskell. We encourage media to visit these pages before making inquiries.
To arrange for interviews and visits, please contact the Library Director in advance at 888 626-2060 ext 2. Due to the daily demands of the library and opera house, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate unscheduled media visits or requests.
The confidentiality of our patrons is of the upmost importance. Filming video is not allowed and photos cannot capture our patrons without their express permission.
Of note, library and opera house stass and board members will not comment on matters related to politics, border security, and other topics of this nature not directly related to the day-to-day operations of the organization.
