Ticket information: These are ticketed events. Each in-person ticket is $40 USD / $55 CND (plus tax and Eventbrite fees) and will include one general admission seat for the date on your ticket and one signed copy of The Last Mandarin. A portion of the proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to the Haskell Library & Opera House Infrastructure Overhaul Fund. The authors will also match this donation.

-- Every attendee must have their own ticket; there will be no admittance without a ticket. Please bring a printed copy of your ticket or be prepared to show the ticket confirmation on your mobile device upon arrival.

Books: The signed copy of The Last Mandarin purchased with your ticket bundle will be handed out at the time of entry. This exclusive edition includes bonus content: a note from each author, and a bonus chapter set at the of the creation of the tomb of Qin Shi Huang and the terracotta soldiers. Personalized copies will not be available. Phoenix Books will have unsigned books available for sale at the venue.

About the HaskellEstablished in 1904 by Martha Stewart Haskell, the Haskell Free Library & Opera House stands proudly on the Canada-U.S. border, representing a bond between the two countries. Visitors can easily move between countries within the building, which caters to the educational and cultural needs of the communities on both sides of the border. Offering resources in both English and French, this bilingual library features a vast collection, while the opera house hosts a variety of performances. Its early 20th-century architecture showcases meticulously preserved craftsmanship and design. As the world continues to evolve, the Haskell Free Library & Opera House remains a steadfast beacon of cross-cultural collaboration and unity, proving that even in the face of change, the ties that bind us can be strengthened through shared experiences and mutual respect.

- The Haskell has a small parking lot located behind the building on Caswell Avenue. Given the anticipated large turnout, we kindly request that parking in this lot be prioritized for our attendees with disabilities and seniors.
- Parking is available on Main Street, Baxter Avenue, and Pelow Hill, as well as in the parking lot of The Community National Bank.
- Parking will be clearly marked with signs and there will be staff on site to direct attendees to parking locations.
- The United States entrance is on Caswell Avenue.
- Please be aware that the Haskell Free Library & Opera House is NOT a border crossing. International law requires you to exit through the same door you entered.
- The Haskell is committed to providing access to all visitors. Our facilities are equipped with ramps and elevators to assist those with mobility challenges. - To visit the Haskell Free Library & Opera House, passports and visas are not required. Please be aware that the Haskell Free Library & Opera House is NOT a border crossing. International law requires you to exit through the same door you entered.
- Please be aware that both the United States Border Patrol and the RCMP have the right to ask to see personal identification and detain anyone who is not of legal status. We do encourage you to bring your passport with you, just in case.
