Adopt-A-seat

A Unique Opportunity

By adopting a seat, you can enjoy a tax-deductible benefit. Each adoption comes with an engraved plaque featuring your personalized text, up to 30 characters, which will be permanently displayed on the seat. Additionally, we will provide you with a photograph of your seat in a card, serving as a cherished reminder of your special connection to the historic and distinctive Haskell Opera House.

For more information on adopting your Haskell Opera House seat, please contact the Opera House Manager.

*Please note, adopting a seat does not guarantee you will be able to occupy your seat at all performances. Opera House event seating is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Adopt-an-Author

Enjoy New Releases

Do you have a beloved author? Would you love the opportunity to read their newest book before anyone else? Join the Adopt-an-Author program!

By participating in Haskell's Adopt-an-Author initiative, you assist the library in acquiring every new release from your selected author. The library purchases these books at a discounted price, allowing you to pay less than you would at a bookstore or online retailer. Your generosity will be recognized with a bookplate inside the book. Once the title is added to our collection, you will be the first patron to enjoy it.

For more information, please contact the Library Director.

Adopt-a-book

Enrich Our Collection

Make a lasting impact on the library's collection and community by participating in Haskell’s Adopt-a-Book program.

Each month, we curate a list of exciting new titles waiting to be added to our shelves. With our discounted rates, you’ll pay less than retail while receiving recognition with a personalized bookplate in the book. Plus, you’ll be the first to enjoy your sponsored book once it joins our collection! Please be aware that Canadian prices may fluctuate due to the exchange rate.

If you spot a book you would like to see on our shelves, please contact the Library Director.
